Therapy at AMAR Wellness
At AMAR Wellness, our therapists will work with you to face life challenges that are impacting your health and well-being. Everyone’s challenges are different, but some common themes include, high stress, relationship conflict, mental health difficulties, and emotional pain from past experiences. To be helpful, we rely on developing a collaborative relationship with you where you can feel supported and accepted.
AMAR Wellness is a trauma-informed practice. We believe that everyone can be well, experience happiness, and live a fulfilling life. We also recognize that painful life experiences can interfere with an individual’s ability to be happy and feel fulfilled. These life experiences can affect the way our mind, body, and spirit operate. Being trauma-informed also means that we work with our clients to find a holistic path to regain wellness. This path may involve one or more approaches to help you heal and reach your goals.
There are many different approaches to therapy. At AMAR Wellness we practice a variety of researched and validated treatment approaches, some of which are described in more detail below.
