Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
ART is a very straightforward process. Using relaxing eye movements and a technique called voluntary image replacement you can help the brain store the facts of past difficulties so that they no longer trigger strong emotions or physical reactions. Many of our current anxieties and difficulties are rooted in past negative experiences or traumas we have had. ART can free you up to experience your present reality without it being so impacted by negative experiences from the past. When doing ART therapy, you do not have to talk about your experiences to achieve the benefits which some people find helpful. Of course, there is the opportunity to share what you like with the therapist, it is just not a requirement. Another benefit of ART is that the impacts can be seen almost immediately, it can be a very short term therapy.
